With a unanimous vote at Fareham Brough Councils planning committee meeting this week, Imperial Homes are pleased to have secured a resolution to grant a detailed planning permission for 12 open market residential dwellings associated with enabling works at the Bursledon Brick Museum.
The support of the scheme is driven by the necessity of renovating and preserving the last two remaining Victorian Brick Drying Sheds in the UK. The brick drying sheds are Grade II* listed structures currently on the English Heritage ‘at risk register’ due to their deteriorated condition. The approved enabling scheme will see the delivery of twelve new properties in conjunction with requisite Phase I refurbishment works.
This is a scheme some seven years in the making, and we are delighted to be involved in this project with the Bursledon Brick Museum Trust and The Hampshire Building Preservation Trust
Imperial Homes are delighted to have completed on our largest site to date in Romsey.
The 35 unit scheme will be delivered on behalf of VIVID Homes, and will support a range of 2 – 4 bedroom family homes.
On site work is due to commence towards the end of 2023.
This project would not have been possible without the drive and dedication of the team behind the acquisition:
Stephen Keel, Steve Maull, Darren Harman and Ben Loosemore.
